  • Mix Dal 1 cup
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  • Dry red chilly 2
  • curry leaves 1 string
  • oil as required
  • Red chilly powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • salt as per taste

Mix dal gravy

Method:

  • Boil dal in cooker for 3 whistles.
  • Now take a wok. Add oil.
  • Splutter mustard seeds, dry red chilly & curry leaves.
  • Pour boiled dal into it.
  • Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder & garam masala powder.
  • Mix everything well & leave it for 2 minutes to boil.
  • Add salt & coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with steam rice / jeera rice.
